Our Name

Our club's official name is the Organization of Adirondack Rowers and Scullers, Inc.,, so we are listed as O.A.R.S., Inc. dba Albany Rowing Center (ARC) in both Regatta Central and USRowing. The abbreviations ARC or Albany RC are often displayed in the results, entries and heat sheets/draws for regattas.

Regatta Info & Safe Sport

USRowing requires all adults over the age of 18 to complete Safe Sport training. The core training is 90 minutes and a 30 minute refresher course is required annually. In addition, some regattas require rowers to sign participation waivers. Follow directions from your coach to make sure you complete all the requirements to participate in regattas.
