This year, National Learn to Row Day will be held on June 7, 2008. 

9 AM - 1 PM at the Albany Boat House on the Corning Preserve

National Learn to Row Day is an event supported nationally by the USRowing Association and sponsored locally by Albany Rowing Center. To celebrate, we hold learn to row workshops and our annual community rowing challenge. Businesses, organizations, schools, and more are eligible to participate in the Community Challenge. Activities are free and open to the public.

In 2007, nearly 75 people participated in the day’s events, learning to row on ergometers and then getting into a racing shell and out on the water of the Hudson River
