Coaches Wanted!

We seek passionate, highly motivated people interested in serving as Assistant Coaches to work seasonally or year-round with all skill levels and ages of rowers. Assistant Coaching is a part time position for 20-30 hours per week depending on season. We run on-water programs in Spring, Summer, and Fall for Juniors/Modified/Masters/ Adult Learn-to-Row/Youth Summer Camps, as well as winter indoor programs for Juniors/Masters. Responsibilities include teaching participants the fundamentals of rowing, including physical, technical, and mental preparation for competition, in collaboration with ARC’s Head Coach and other coaching staff. Assistant Coaches support an environment that encourages a positive self-image and promotes sportsmanship among all athletes. Desired skills and qualifications:

Preference will be given to individuals with demonstrated prior coaching experience, especially those with USRowing Coaching Certification at Level 1 or Level 2.
